Gopakumar, the MD & CEO of SBL, defines the corporate direction of the company and takes timely decisions for the progression of the organisation as a strategic partner for global enterprise customers. His far-reaching business acumen helps the company to establish a strong foothold within diverse business markets. This cumulative and rich experience has vested upon him the ultimate responsibility of leading a dynamic team of our Board of Directors. Carrying with him the very essence of diplomacy, he becomes an unbeaten source of energy for all at SBL in building robust customer-focus, infallible operational excellence, and vigorous revenue escalation. Being the major stakeholder of Sai International Trading Company (SITCO), a premium manufacturing and exporting company in India, Gopakumar has proven his talent in implementing business strategies and channelising the overall performance and growth of SBL.

Tim Colman

Director-SBL INFOTECH UK

Tim, the Director of SBL INFOTECH, has more than thirty years experience of technical sales and marketing and general management including spells with three major multi-national corporations. Latterly Tim has established and worked in a number of successful SME’s (Small and Medium sized Enterprises). He is very active in the business community-particularly in the South of England and is a Board Member of the Enterprise M3 LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) which brings him into regular and direct contact with Government Ministers and BIS (the UK Government Department for Business Innovation and Skills). Although now based in the United Kingdom his work continues to take him around the world on a regular basis. For nearly 30 years Tim has been a Director and shareholder of Chevron Cars – a leading manufacturer of racing cars, director of an outsourced HR company and a Procurement Consultancy, 20 long years of Director level experience in Swatch Group and worked as a Regional Export Manager in Chloride Group with overall responsibility for development of the regional market, including sales and budget preparation. Tim studied electrical engineering at Southampton University – graduating with honours. He undertook a “sandwich course” combining his University Degree work with Industrial training – sponsored by Pirelli General and became a Senior Project Engineer in research and development department with responsibilities including technical and commercial management of research projects.

Richard Wickes

Manager-SBL INFOTECH UK

Richard Wickes, the Manager of SBL INFOTECH UK, is a top level business professional with a track record of success in cross-industry general management, and in the technical and sales aspects of IT. He founded and ran his own software business empire for over 18 years. The companies involved created and sold PC software packages, and provided bespoke application development services. Prior to that, he spent nine years as a sole trader offering implementation, training and other consultancy services in software on IBM midrange systems involving locations in Europe, Asia and North America. The quality that has sustained him throughout his career is his ability to build and sustain long term, successful and profitable relationships with clients, and to inspire trust and motivation in colleagues and subordinates. His role at SBL is to grow the business through ensuring that clients receive a top quality service, with all assignments completed to the highest possible standard and to the agreed time-scales.

Geoff Blissitt.

Sales & Marketing Manager, Europe

Geoff has joined SBL from Stanfords, where he was Head of their Business Mapping division. During his tenure, Stanfords were awarded Ordnance Survey's Outstanding Achievement Award for 3 consecutive years, secured Ordnance Survey Premier Partner status, and became one of only 4 suppliers to be accredited by the UK Government's online planning agency, Planning Portal. Geoff has over 10 years experience within the UK GI sector and is widely respected as a well-informed, innovative, reliable and highly effective professional, who sets and maintains the highest standards. As such SBL clients can always expect an intelligent, well-conceived, coherent, and tightly managed approach to their projects.
