PWAs are mature enough to ship into regulated estates — but only after a sober comparison with native and traditional web.
The trade-offs
Offline reliability, push, and install-without-app-store are real PWA wins. Hardware integration, biometrics, and platform-specific UI are still native's ground.
Where PWAs win
Internal tools, field workflows, and any deployment where the device fleet is too varied to rationalise.
